Who we are

This site belongs to 5 Bagos Sociedade Agrícola, Lda, a private limited company (sociedade por quotas) with a share capital of €221,675.00, tax ID (NIPC) 508 566 568, registered at the Conservatória do Registo Comercial under no. 508 566 568, registered office at Quinta da Saudade, Muxagata, 5150-333 Vila Nova de Foz Côa, Portugal. Scope

These terms govern access to the site and the purchase of the wines presented here. By ordering, the customer accepts the version published on the order date.

We only accept requests from people aged 18 or over, and the order must be received by a person aged 18 or over. We do not ship if there are signs that the recipient is a minor.

Minimum age

The sale and consumption of alcoholic drinks are reserved for people aged 18 or over. The site asks for age confirmation and, when ordering, the customer declares they are of legal age to buy alcoholic drinks. We do not ship the order if that condition is not met.

Quantities

Every wine can be bought by the bottle, including Vinha da Migalha. There is no general minimum order in the shop. In a box you put together, you can mix the available 0.75 L wines in boxes of 2, 3 or 6 bottles, including one Migalha Branco and one Migalha Tinto in the same box.

Prices

Prices are in euros and include VAT at the applicable rate. Shipping included to mainland Portugal above €150. Otherwise quoted by email. After the request, we email a proposal with the delivery time and the total for the destination given. The order depends on the customer confirming that proposal.

A request through the site does not confirm an order or incur a charge. Prices may change without affecting confirmed orders.

Member price

Registration on the site with an active newsletter subscription gives access to a 10% discount on the public price. It is applied automatically when signed in. Membership is free and may be cancelled at any time, with loss of the discount.

Sending the request

At the final step, “Send order request” emails your selection to encomendas@palatodocoa.pt.

We confirm availability, shipping costs and payment details by email; payment is by bank transfer or MB Way. Nothing will be charged at this step.

Governing law and disputes

Portuguese law applies, without prejudice to the mandatory rules of the country where the consumer is habitually resident.

In the event of a consumer dispute, the consumer may apply to CNIACC — Centro Nacional de Informação e Arbitragem de Conflitos de Consumo (www.cniacc.pt), the alternative dispute resolution body covering the municipality of Vila Nova de Foz Côa. Consumer disputes of a value up to the jurisdictional limit of the Portuguese courts of first instance are subject to mandatory arbitration when the consumer expressly chooses to submit them to a consumer arbitration centre (Law 24/96, Article 14).

The customer may also file a complaint in the electronic Complaints Book, at www.livroreclamacoes.pt.
