Shipping & Returns

Destinations

We accept requests for mainland Portugal, Madeira, the Azores and other countries. Choose the destination in the request. For deliveries to mainland Portugal, shipping is included on purchases above €150. For purchases up to €150, and for Madeira, the Azores or another country, delivery and shipping depend on the quotation we send by email and on your confirmation.

Shipping costs and delivery times

After the request, we send a proposal with the delivery time and the total for your destination. We do not ship at weekends or on national public holidays. We deliver within 30 days at the latest, counted from the day after the order is confirmed, unless the proposal states another delivery time. The order depends on your confirmation. The site does not take payments.

Right of withdrawal

Consumers may withdraw from the contract within 14 days of receiving the goods, without giving a reason, under the legal regime for distance contracts (Decree-Law 24/2014). To do so, write to geral@palatodocoa.pt before the deadline, using the model form below or any other unequivocal statement.

Goods must be returned within 14 days of notice of withdrawal, in a condition allowing resale, with bottles unopened and in the original packaging wherever possible. We bear the cost of returning the goods.

We refund all payments received, including the costs of delivery, within 14 days of the date on which we are informed of the withdrawal, using the same means of payment the consumer used, unless expressly agreed otherwise and at no cost to the consumer. We do not refund the supplementary cost of a more expensive delivery method that the consumer expressly requested instead of the least expensive method we offered.

Legal guarantee of conformity

We are liable for any lack of conformity of the goods that becomes apparent within three years of delivery (Portuguese Decree-Law 84/2021, Article 12).

Damaged, incomplete or incorrect orders

Write to geral@palatodocoa.pt as soon as possible, preferably with a photograph of the condition in which your order arrived. Consumers have the rights provided by law for goods that are not in conformity (Portuguese Decree-Law 84/2021).
